Healthcare

Clinical visualisation, dental curing and specialised medical LED technologies — with a clear line drawn between finished devices, technology platforms and components for integration.

How to read this page. A finished medical device is a complete product. A technology platform is a light engine developed for a clinical application and integrated by an equipment manufacturer. A component is an LED package supplied for integration. These are not interchangeable, and they are not all medical devices. Product availability, registrations and specifications may differ by market.

Finished device

Ravaye E2 Vein Finder

A near-infrared vein visualisation system designed to assist healthcare professionals in locating peripheral veins.

The device projects a near-infrared field onto the skin and renders the subsurface venous pattern for the clinician. It is handheld, and it is intended to support the practitioner’s own assessment rather than to replace it.

Technology platform

Dental LED Curing Solution

A specialised POLYMATECH LED Chip-on-Board platform developed for dental photopolymerisation and curing-equipment applications.

Dental composites cure through a photoinitiator that responds within a defined wavelength band. The platform is built around that requirement: the emitter, the optical design and the thermal design are chosen for the chemistry rather than adapted from a general-purpose light.

Category
Technology platform for integration
Applications
Ultraviolet curing, including dental photopolymerisation
